Community CPR Class

When there’s an emergency, seconds count. After calling 911 to alert the Mud Tavern Volunteer Firefighters to your emergency, do you know what to do next? Mud Tavern Volunteer Fire Rescue is sponsoring a CPR class to help you take the next step.
This class will cover CPR basics including:
- Helping with breathing problems including choking, anaphylaxis, and asthma.
- Knowing the difference between a cardiac arrest and a heart attack.
- Recognizing when someone is having a stroke.
- When rescue breathing is needed.
- Performing Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Using an Automatic External Deliberator (AED)
The class is limited to 20 people.
