Caregiver First Aid and CPR

Caregiver First Aid and CPR is designed for kids between ages 10-16 who will be taking care of other kids or just be in charge of the house for a while. In this class, they will learn:
- What to do in case of an accident and how to get help.
- How to tell when someone needs an ambulance and when they don’t.
- Dealing with choking for a youth or infant.
- Doing CPR for a youth or infant.
- Handing minor cuts, scrapes, and burns.
- How to deal with something that is bleeding badly.
- First aid for strains and sprains.
- What to do about poisons, both ingested and external.
- Things to think about in both hot weather and cold weather.
- What do to when everything is going wrong and the little one you are in charge of will not stop crying.
Maximum of 15 students for this class.
