NICA First Aid / CPR: Knoxville, TN

NICA First Aid and CPR is the assessment of and treatment given to an ill or injured person in a when definitive care of a physician and/or rapid transport is less than on hour away. This 8 hour course will provide you with the skills and confidence to assess and treat trauma and illnesses at NICA practices, races and other events.
Minimum age for this course is 16.
We consider CPR to be integral to our courses, so our course includes CPR training.
Schedule: 8am to 5pm. Please be onsite and ready to start class by 7:30am.
Gear: Be prepared for the weather and to be outside for several hours at a time. Unless there are thunderstorms, we will be outside in the rain. Everyone will have a chance to be a patient during scenarios, so wear older clothing that would be ok to get wound makeup on. Bring a water bottle and a way to take notes outside.
Meals: Bring water and snacks and a sack lunch, there will not be time to leave to get lunch.
